Twitter to soon get this most requested feature

The Twitter Comms team posted about the upcoming feature on the platform. The company tweeted, "yes, we've been working on an edit feature since last year! no, we didn't get the idea from a poll. we're kicking off testing within @TwitterBlue Laps in the coming months to what works, what doesn't, and what's possible."
