Why Apple, Samsung and others are ‘worried’ over India’s NavIC

Russia has GLONASS, China has BeiDou, the European Union has Galileo whereas India has NavIC. If you are wondering what these are then these are navigation systems — based on the lines of GPS — that are proprietary to these countries. According to a report by Reuters, the government of India has been pushing smartphone majors to incorporate NavIC in their devices.
