October 2022 is being observed as the Cyber Security Awareness Month. With this initiative the Indian government aims to create awareness as well as sensitize internet users about different types of cyber attacks. One such attack is camera hacking. Camera hacking happens whenever a fraudster hacks into a digital device using malware and remotely takes control of the webcam/camera in the user‘s device. These devices can be desktops, laptops, tablets, security cameras, mobile phones and more.
