NPCI chief has a 'UPI idea' for Elon Musk on Twitter ‘blue tick’ fee

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) chief executive officer Dilip Asbe has a 'UPI idea' for Twitter's new owner Elon Musk. Asbe has pitched the autopay feature of the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) as a simple way to handle monthly payments for Twitter's paid subscription service, Twitter Blue. Replying to a tweet by Musk, Asbe said that UPI's recurring payments offering already has seven million users.
