Spotify is shutting down another service, second this month

Music streaming platform Spotify is closing down Heardle. For those unaware, Heardle is the Wordle-inspired music guessing game that the company acquired in July last year for an undisclosed sum. At the time of its acquisition, Spotify said that Heardle would remain free to play for everyone. The Wordle-inspired music guessing game offers players six tries to guess a popular song — but instead of typing in different letters to form words, players listen to a song’s intro to guess the artist and title. This is second service that Spotify is shutting down this month. Earlier this month, Spotify said that it is shutting down its live-audio app 'Spotify Live'.
