Baidu AI model launch: Here’s what the company CEO has to say

Chinese search engine Baidu is developing its large language model (LLM), Ernie 3.5, for its search engine and chatbot app, Ernie Bot. Ernie 3.5 aims to be China's answer to OpenAI's ChatGPT, competing with Microsoft-backed ChatGPT app. Baidu's founder and CEO, Robin Li, has announced the arrival of the model at a Chinese technology forum.
