Google Maps to expand ‘Immersive View’ to routes: What it means, and the cities getting it

Google Maps' Immersive View for Routes is expanding to include detailed information about traffic, intersections, parking spots, weather, and aerial views. The feature offers a multidimensional experience with previews of the route before users even embark on the journey. The time slider displays air quality and how the route may change throughout the day as well. The list of 15 cities where the feature will be available in the coming months includes London, New York, San Francisco, and Tokyo, among others.
