Amazon CEO, Andy Jassy, announced plans to invest an additional $15bn in India over the next seven years, taking total investment in India to $26bn. During Indian prime minister Narendra Modi's first state visit with the US, the two discussed supporting Indian start-ups and creating jobs, among other initiatives. Amazon has pledged to digitise 10 million small businesses, create two million jobs and enable $20bn in exports by 2025.
