Amazon is cutting more jobs, here's the company's statement

Amazon is reportedly cutting some jobs from its Fresh grocery stores in the US as a part of its restructuring plan. Amazon confirmed that it is eliminating "Zone lead" roles, lower-level management positions, at the Fresh stores. The company has not disclosed the number of job cuts made. Amazon will work with the impacted staff to help them search for new roles or provide severance. Amazon runs 44 Fresh grocery stores in the US, most of which are in California, Illinois, Virginia, and Washington state.
