9 more supercomputers to be added under National Supercomputing Mission, list of four current fastest machines in India

The Indian government has approved a Rs 14,903 crore ($2 billion) expansion of the Digital India programme to enable digital delivery of services to citizens. As part of the initiative, there are nine more supercomputers to be added under the National Super Computer Mission, which already has 18 supercomputers. 'Airawat', India’s largest and fastest AI supercomputing system, has also entered the list of the 500 most powerful computer systems installed across the world. It ranked 75th on the 61st edition of the Top 500 Global Supercomputing List.
