The app is no longer available for download, but existing users can still use it. Apple's decision to discontinue the app is part of its consolidation of media apps, with the Apple TV app now serving as the primary destination for movie and TV show trailers. In 2019, Apple discontinued the iTunes app for Mac and split its functionality into separate Music, Podcasts, and TV apps.
