Google, Amazon, Intel, Nvidia and other tech giants invest in AI startup Hugging Face

Tech giants including Google, Amazon, Nvidia, Salesforce, AMD, Intel, IBM, and Qualcomm have invested in AI startup Hugging Face. The company, which develops tools for building applications using machine learning, operates similarly to GitHub, allowing developers to share code, models, and datasets. Hugging Face currently has 500,000 AI models, 250,000 datasets, and 10,000 paying customers. The investment will be used to hire talent and stay competitive in the AI space. Earlier this year, Hugging Face collaborated with Amazon Web Services to run its next-generation AI model on AWS's Trainium chip.
