Government e-Marketplace registered highest ever GMV of more than Rs 2 lakh crore

The Government e-Marketplace (GeM) achieved its highest-ever Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) of Rs 2,01,113 crore in the fiscal year 2022-23. GeM ensures that vendors can participate in a fair and equitable manner, resulting in a competitive and efficient marketplace. The platform enhances transparency, promotes inclusivity, and enables the procurement of the best products and services at the most competitive prices for the government. Over 13 lakh sellers have registered themselves with GeM, and the platform has facilitated savings worth more than Rs 40,000 crore since its start.
