WhatsApp will now allow users to schedule group calls, here’s how it works

WhatsApp has rolled out a new feature that enables users to schedule voice or video calls in group chats. Available for Android beta testers, users can tap on the call button and select the call subject, date and type of call. The scheduled call then automatically becomes an event in the group chat and participants are notified 15 minutes before the call commences. Meanwhile, WhatsApp has introduced a screen sharing feature for its global user base and landscape mode for a broader perspective of the call interface.
