Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a virtual meeting with Google and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai to discuss Google's plans for expanding the electronics manufacturing ecosystem in India. Pichai emphasised Google's commitment to contribute to India's development, including manufacturing Chromebooks in India through a partnership with HP. Pichai also announced the opening of Google's global fintech operation center in Gujarat.
