Amazon has reportedly cut jobs in its communications divisions, affecting over 5% of the workforce in Amazon Studios, Prime Video, and Music. However, the cuts represent less than 1% of Amazon's global communications staff. The affected employees will receive pay, benefits, severance packages, and job-placement support. This comes after previous rounds of layoffs at Amazon, including the elimination of 18,000 positions between November 2022 and January 2023.
