Google, Microsoft, Amazon and Cloudflare mitigated ‘largest attack in internet history’

Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Cloudflare have successfully mitigated a massive DDoS cyber attack that targeted their services. Referred to as "HTTP/2 Rapid Reset," the attack exploited a zero-day vulnerability in the HTTP/2 network protocol. The companies developed technology and added additional protections to counter similar attacks, which peaked in August 2023.
