Apple awards Taylor Swift as the artist of the year for 2023

Taylor Swift has been named Apple Music's artist of the year for 2023. According to Apple, Swift had 65 songs reach the Global Daily Top 100 in the first 10 months of the year, more than any other artist. As part of the award, Swift will receive a physical award featuring a custom silicon wafer. Apple Music is also highlighting Swift's music and moments on its app, including radio programming, interviews, and playlists that showcase her journey as a singer-songwriter. Swift's album "Midnights" is the biggest album by a female artist in Apple Music history.
