Apple unveils iOS 17 with new Check in feature, live voicemail and more

Apple unveiled new features of iOS 17 for iPhones at its annual developer conference. A Contacts Poster feature lets users assign images or emojis to specific contacts, where they can customize with fonts and colors as well. The Live Voicemail feature will provide transcription of voicemail contents, and Messages gets new features, including a location tracking option, Check in function, and Stickers, now available across third-party apps. Apple has also improved the search functionality of iPhone devices with iOS 17. A new Journal app will also release later this year.
