Zuckerberg responded on his platform, Threads, noting his agreement to the challenge of August 26, but saying he was “not holding his breath” for confirmation. Facebook and Instagram, both Meta platforms, have in-built fundraising features whereas X does not, prompting Zuckerberg to suggest a day-of-giving on a platform that can “actually raise money for charity”.
